The reality and possibility of resurrections doesn’t hit right away. There’s some silence, disbelief, confusion, and questions that come before the full understanding that death isn’t the final word. After focusing on the daily realities of temptation, doubt, fear, and anger, and after thinking about our devotion to and hope in Jesus, we experience joy that is unexpected and unearned. We have to decide if we’ll share it like the women and hear it as the Good News like the disciples.
