Many of the words translated as worship involve movement, even a worship posture that puts us face down. The psalmist tells us to bow and kneel, reminding us that worship isn’t just a heady exercise, but a whole-body thing where we offer all of ourselves. Worship is about God and the community gathered together. We worship our Creator who sends us out to live and love the world and all who dwell in it.
