Proverb: Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.  This too is meaningless.  (Ecclesiastes 5: 10)

Rather than “the more you get, the more you have,” we hear Jesus saying, “the more you give away in love, the more you are.”  His words stand in direct opposition to our desire for more – not what we need, but what we want.  How do we cultivate gratitude for what we already have and focus on generosity and sacrificial living as Jesus models?
