Stories about foo get our attention. Resurrection stories often involve food. After a long day of fishing, Peter and the other disciples see the risen Lord calling them from the shore. He calls them to “Come, have breakfast.” Jesus goes out of his way to assure his friends that it was really he who was present, fully alive and in the flesh. And he restores his relationship with Peter by forgiving him and calling him to serve and follow him (again).
