“Justice is what love looks like in public.” Seeking a right relationship with God (righteousness) and doing what’s right (justice) are closely tied – another way to understand loving God and loving neighbor. To follow Jesus is to have a passion for justice, especially speaking out on behalf of those who have no voice, advocating for people in need of help and care, and challenging our tendency to selfishness rather than valuing community.

This is the fourth week in our series, “The Nine Key Teachings of Jesus.” Today’s message is based on Micah 6: 8, Luke 4: 14-21, and a “Prayer for Unity.”
