Four days ago, we were rejoicing at the manger. Today, we hear a story of powerful rulers using violence to maintain their control and influence. It is a tragic haunting story. Where can we see signs of God at work, even in the worst of what we do to each other? Even amid a world that would say there’s no room,” how is God calling us to make room for a Savior?
