Welcoming All, Empowered by Christ, Sent Forth to Serve

May 18, 2020 Brainstorming: “Unafraid”

Everyone worries – some more than others – and there is a great need to address fear and worry in our time, especially in this time of Covid-19 affecting the whole world. All of us live with a measure of fear about something, but we don’t have to be controlled by it. We can live with courage and hope, secure in God’s love and presence with us.

We hope that this series can be a church-wide study, including a book study of Adam Hamilton’s Unafraid and daily devotional guide for adults along with specific resources for youth and adults.

The Worship Connections will brainstorm for this series at their May 18, 2020 meeting at 2:00 pm via Zoom. Pastor Mary or Karen Booth will send out the meeting link. Please let one of them know if you would like to participate.

It is important to prep as much as possible before we gather. We’ve been able to look at images and videos before via Zoom, but it is far from ideal. Please read the brainstorming document in its entirety and watch the videos; links to the videos are in the brainstorming document. Additional articles are below as are some inspirational images and quotes.
