Epiphany Worship Series: “Word of God Speak”

wordofgodspeak-e1356276028198How do we listen to God? How do we discern God’s voice? Whether it’s in our personal decision-making or seeking to follow God’s will as the church, we have to pay attention. In the Gospel of John, we read that “the Word became flesh and lived among us.” Jesus is the Word of God, but sometime it’s tough for us to listen to him and learn from him.

Epiphany is a holy day celebrated on January 6, the twelfth day of Christmas. The magi came to worship Jesus and acknowledge that he came for all people. “Epiphany” has come to be known as a moment when we understand in a new way or see something differently. We’ll focus on Jesus as the Word of God whose life and ministry speaks to us. We’ll explore the “a-ha!” moments in Jesus’ life and ministry and how those moments connect to our own “a-ha!” moments.

Please join the Worship Connections Teams on Monday, January 4 at 2:00 pm in the lounge as we plan for this message series. Click here for the scripture readings and message synopses.
