Our Worship Connections Teams will lead all three worship planning sessions:

Elements of a Successful Worship Connections Team: It Takes "All Kinds of Kinds"

It took several years to get our Worship Teams moving in the right direction.  During this session, we will cover the kinds of things we wish we had known from the start: how to develop a team; working with what God has given us; team guidelines; resources; worship supplies; journaling; and setting a realistic budget.

Developing Worship Themes - Designing Worship for All Kinds of Kinds

Different elements of worship connect different people to each other and God.  Beginning with the Book of Genesis and moving through the Bible to Revelation, our team will show (and tell) how we have incorporated these elements in various messages and message series.

Now What - Learning from Experience

Now it is time to use what you learned in the morning sessions.  Starting with familiar scripture passages and brief message synopses, we will brainstorm ideas for three worship services focusing on Jesus as both Shepherd and Lamb.  We’ll find ways to incorporate visual elements, music, media, drama, hands-on items, activities, etc. to engage people physically, emotionally, intellectually, and soulfully and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Worship participants will go home with a goody bag stocked full of hands-on items, hand-outs, and more. They will also have a chance to purchase items that Lake Harbor's Worship and Education Teams no longer use.

Cost: $30 per person

Early bird registration is $25 if postmarked no later than September 15. Fellowship members receive a $5 discount on registration.

Registration deadline is October 1.
