The Old Testament is a story of our “Ancestors in Faith.” We might know the basic stories of Abraham, Moses, and others. Looking back we see that their journey with God was different than ours, and yet we find some common ground. To be sent into the Promised Land was a gift from God. However, the journey to that place wasn’t without difficulty, conflict, struggle, and joy A life of faith isn’t a smooth road for any of us, and it’s not always smooth as a community of faith.
