On January 13, the Worship Connections Teams will be having a brainstorming to plan worship for February 9 through March 2. We will gather at 6:00 pm at David and Karen Booth’s house for dinner. Karen is making meatloaf. Some ideas for a dish to pass would be a salad, vegetable, potatoes, bread or rolls, dessert, or drinks. As always, there will be more than enough to eat even if you (and anyone you bring along) arrive empty handed.
We will brainstorm for worship from 7:00-9:00 pm. The scripture readings and message synopses, which can be found by clicking here, are part of a nine-week series on the Beatitudes. We will only work on the first four weeks of the series at this brainstorming; we will do the rest later as part of the Lent/Easter planning. I have included the whole series to give you the “big picture.”
