We are a people who live in anticipation, who live in hope. It is the essence of our being. So at the beginning of Advent, we hear the call to pay attention. Our life is a life of fullness and joy, but it is also a preparation fore even more fullness – sanctification. Riskier still, we say we are moving on to perfection.
