Lent and Easter Worship: “Gifts of the Dark Wood”

All Church Worship Brainstorming

David and Karen Booth’s house
6:00 pm Potluck Dinner
7:00-9:00 pm Brainstorming for Worship

This series based on the book, Gifts of the Dark Wood by Eric Elnes, is about “seeing life through new eyes, recognizing that the experiences of failure, emptiness, and uncertainty are critical for finding our way through life as they are unavoidable.” We will see how experiences of life through the ‘dark wood” are actually clues to our “calling” or “life path.” How can the struggles be the seedbed of spiritual awakening to the fullness of life?

All are invited. Plan on joining us for dinner. Karen is making cheese stuffed shells. Bring a dish to pass and maybe a sweater as we will gather in the basement to take advantage of the larger space and big screen. Please read the scripture and message summaries and preview the videos before we gather is possible. Click here for that information.

RSVP’s and carpooling are helpful but not mandatory.
