Today’s message is based on John 15:9-17. We hear the term “friend” used for how we relate to one another over social media, specifically Facebook. “Friend” has become a verb for connecting to one another — sometimes without much investment. But Jesus proclaim that those who do what he commands are called his friends. How do we claim this relationship — and confirm (make firm) this relationship daily?
